MHK Named to Mountain Living’s 2026 Top Mountain Architects List

MHK Architecture is honored to be included in Mountain Living’s 2026 Top Mountain Architects List, an exclusive guide recognizing the most talented and influential architecture firms working throughout the Mountain West.

This recognition reflects our team’s ongoing commitment to thoughtful design, craftsmanship, and architecture that responds meaningfully to place. Mountain Living’s list highlights firms that continue to shape the region’s-built environment through work that balances beauty, performance, and connection to the landscape.

A Peer Recognized Honor

Firms selected for the 2026 list were recommended by a broad network of homeowners, designers, architects, photographers, and Mountain Living’s senior editorial staff. Additionally, firms featured in Mountain Living within the past two years were recognized for their most recent published work — underscoring both design excellence and continued influence within the region.

The list will be featured in the January/February 2026 issue of Mountain Living, organized by state and town across the Mountain West, and accompanied by a digital edition highlighting each firm’s work.

Design Rooted in the Mountain Landscape

MHK Architecture’s mountain projects are guided by a deep respect for site, climate, and context. From modern alpine residences to thoughtfully scaled mountain retreats, our work emphasizes natural materials, indoor outdoor connection, and designs that feel grounded in their surroundings while supporting modern living.
