At MHK Architecture’s Islamorada studio, Director Tim Leard brings a design-forward perspective shaped by both architectural and interior design experience. With a focus on high-end residential projects, Tim approaches each home with a deep appreciation for both form and function, ensuring every detail contributes to cohesive and elevated living.
After spending over a decade working in interior design in Hong Kong, Tim returned to his roots in residential architecture, where his passion for thoughtful, high-quality design continues to drive his work.
At MHK, he values the opportunity to collaborate on projects that prioritize both design excellence and the overall client experience. “We treat each project like it was our own home,” Tim says. “I want clients to appreciate the whole design process and to feel as excited to move in as they did when the design process began.”
This commitment to a seamless and engaging process is central to the Islamorada studio’s approach. By working closely with clients from concept through completion, Tim and his team create homes that reflect each client’s vision while embracing the unique character of the Florida Keys.
Outside of the studio, Tim enjoys spending time on the water, taking full advantage of the natural beauty of the Keys.
